Hi, I am an experienced Linux administrator and programmer. I have written similar web-based applications using PHP in the past. Assuming you have credentials for the MySQL database, it should be no problem getting access to that data via PHP and then generate the reports, either web-based or to PDF. How many reports are needed and how complex will they be?
