Yes I can do this! I can also try for cron job if there is any issue with syntax or path. And i do have another way also to run your PHP script in background on some specific time in a day time. This can be easy but you must define Linux distribution and version because there are different ways to do such a task. There is a possibility to run php script in background always without option to kill it.
