Build a simple, clean website that displays search results (search engine ) from a customized database on a webpage. The site will also gives options for users to review / rate the search results. The database is not expected to be very large. Another part of the website should allow me to list discounts , jobs etc.

I can implement search server crawling to your database. I have already done search server work. It eill be implemented in php, mysql and a separate search server. Also rating management is easily acheived by the above technologies. I can assure you that it will be better than the others who use some 3rd party framework to implement without the knowledge of core functioning. Interface will be easy to use and highly manageble
