I have worked on lot of ETL tools where i have to crawl, extract data from various data sources and transform them and then load it to database/target systems. I also have experience with security systems as in my last project i have implemented security in enterprise search engine. I mostly work in Java and MySQL.

I have 8+ years of experience of C/C++ on Windows / Linux for Windows desktop client applications or Linux backend server programs, and near 2 years of experience of PHP Web development. I am familiar with common databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, TCP/IP socket programming, multi-threading / multi-process programming, proficient in testing and debugging network programs with various tools like wireshark, tcpdump, nc, tcpreplay, etc. I have very good quality mindset. Especially I had been working in Huawei for more than three years, and I accepted very strict QA training there, so I always know how to test my code / program to make sure the high quality.

I have extensive experience of data crawling (for example Hadoop, Stanford POS, Mallett...), but the description is a bit vague, so I'm not sure what information you would like to extract, anyway I'm pretty sure I can do it in a few days. I suppose it's database text extraction, but I also did a lot of image extraction and video extraction tasks.
