My name is Sylvan "Fitz" Carroll; I'm a nonbinary artist, student, and tattoo apprentice with a wide variety of experience in a plethora of artistic fields. My main skills involve illustration and painting, though I have a mixed media history, including but not limited to, sewing, collage, ink, watercolor, acrylic, oil, digital, screenprinting, ceramics, sculpture, and more. I'm currently studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and am at a junior level, scheduled to graduate in the summer of 2024. As a tattoo apprentice, I maintain a keen attention to detail, color theory, drawing, and general artistry. I would love to turn your idea into a beautiful piece you would be proud to have on your body! Coverups can be tricky, but with the right touch they can be turned into masterpieces; and I'd love to help you achieve that. As a tattoo apprentice, I have an expanded knowledge of the industry, process, and artistry that allows me to combine the three with knowledge of color theory, coverups, Japanese traditional style and the way the body shape influences the design. Take care!
