Hi, I'd be happy to design this storage tube-like product for you. I'd use SolidWorks, including advanced surfacing features, to make the exact shape you want, and would ensure that all tolerances are correct for manufacturing (I assume by forging of sheet metal in the case of the stainless steel part, and probably plastic injection molding if there is a plastic lid). I've been using SolidWorks for 5.5 years and have degrees in both mechanical and polymer/fiber engineering (from an American university), so I'm confident I can produce a manufacturable product that meets all your requirements. Also, if you wanted, for an extra fee I could 3D print a prototype right here in Ukraine. (Or, if you guys have access to a 3D printer, I could make the "G-code" for it from the model) Let me know if that's of interest and I'll give you an updated quote.
