Teach English and Learn about Chinese Culture

Job Description Our English teachers prepare and educate students to create a richer global community. Teachers create lesson plans, teach, track student progress, present relevant information to the foreign teacher academic group, create tests, and work with the school to improve campus culture around Internationalization and study skills. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS At least a Bachelor's degree. TEFL/TESOL or other teaching certification desired. Performance, media arts, and other passionate interests are a plus! JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Job: Teach 16 English classes per week and participate in English language extracurricular activities. Genuine interest in student success. Communication Skills: You must be able to speak clearly to students and college community. Instruction Skills: Communicate new ideas and unfamiliar concepts so that students understand. Writing Skills: Teachers write periodic progress reports about students' learning needs. Patience: The students you work with will have different backgrounds and abilities. Creativity: Teachers find ways to encourage students to speak English. Additionally, teachers may work with different learning styles to get the most out of each student. People Skills: Engage faculty and create healthy relationships with students and faculty for a quality learning environment.
