Joomla Website Required

I have a client who has requested we redesign his current website and then integrate it into a CMS so they can easily update it themselves without any html knowledge. Based on our research, we recommended Joomla. We are not experts in Joomla. Typically we outsource the design and have a psd (homepage and innerpage) created and the html generation is done by a different team. So the developer we work with will need to let us know if there are certain requirements we need to have our designers stick to in the psd creation to make it work well with Joomla. We are open to having the whole project done, but in our experience its extremely difficult to find good talented designers. But we are open to any proposal. The key thing is the client wants to be able to easily add new pages (and menu items) and also use existing pages as template so they can reuse components of their website. On the homepage they need a location for Specials and events as well. Not to mention be able to change the text on any page. Let me know how to best coordinate that. While we have done many websites before, this is our first Joomla project for our client and want to make sure everything will go smoothly. We do get asked quite frequently for CMS based websites, so this can lead to future work. Please do NOT bid unless you have a good amoiunt of Joomla experience. Be prepared to provide examples.
