Automating work flow - email, Betfair API & bookmakers

Hi, This is an odd piece of software, but very useful for me... it's automating a work flow that currently I have to do manually. I cannot always be home to do this hence the automation requirement. This is the basic work flow: 1. Software reads given emails in my Inbox (copy of emails given for programming purposes) 2. If I receive email from a given person the email is read and certain details extracted from it (horse racing details, for bet placement) 3. Software then uses these details and places a bet with either Betfair (through API) or with certain bookmakers (UK main ones - Ladbrokes, William Hill, etc.). 4. There will be conditions, so if a given price is not available with Betfair the software automatically places bets with bookmakers. 5. Bets placed are confirmed and logged. Any problems are logged.
