I need to compile some older code for a PIC18 that was originally written using sdcc about 10 years ago. The machine has long since been retired and the version of eclipse used is also 10 years old. when installing it on a newer machine I get the error message that the the SDCC is orphaned. I propose that you log onto a fresh VM with windows 10 and install the SDCC and Eclipse and the milestone will be released when I am able to compile my code

Vehicle entry gantry system using PIC18 microcontroller. A photoelectric sensor is used to detect the vehicle at the gantry. The RFID reader will then take 2 seconds to read the vehicle IU unit. The LCD should display “Reading IU Unit” during these 2 seconds. Once the car is granted access, the gate pole will be raised until the car passes through the gantry. The LCD will then display “Please proceed”. The gate pole will then lower down to its normal position. If the vehicle is not granted access, the LCD should display “Error Reading IU Unit”

Hi, i need software to communicate between two PIC processors via I2C bus. Master is PIC32MX340F512H and slave PIC18F14K50 (Microchip). Program for both processors: 1. PIC18 (slave) wait for command from PIC32 (master). 2. PIC32 sends the command via I2C, PIC18 receives it. 3. PIC18 sends data (2 or 3 bytes) via I2C to PIC32. 4. PIC32 receives data via I2C. Compilator: C32 and C18 from Microchip. The software is in C language. For PIC32 and PIC18 use the built-in library in the compiler for I2C (#include <i2c.h>). Thank you.

I have a little bootloader that flash a new firmware into the top memory, when it finish i make Reset() (LINE 197) and aplication runs fine , the problem is when I turn off the circuit, it start again from bootloader I make a eeprom variable set to 1 if flash was sucessfuly, so then if eeprom == 1 I perform a reset() (LINE 79) to force to start aplication but doesn't work PIC18F26K22 made in MPLAB X 4.20, i don't accept another version

We need a system which will collect temperature and humidity datas from 3 beacon modules which we have axa beacon-pc062 ( ). This beacon module includes temperature and humidity sensors and they send values of the sensors via beacon bluetooth communication. We are planning to use ARM(ST32F0.. or STM32L0.. ) or Microchip controllers (PIC12, PIC16 or PIC18) for master bluetooth system. All beacon modules are going to send datas for every 1 second. So, we will take 3 different datas for 1 second. Also we should choose a bluetooth module which will work with microcontrollers for receiving datas from beacons. Hi. I need help programming a pic18f so that it can read CAN messages (extended) from a CAN-bus and send them out on USART. I also want it to be able to take messages from USART and send them on the can bus. The project only includes programming the pic18f, nothing else. The Microcontroller used is a PIC18F66K80. It has a built in CAN-controller and an USART. I would prefer if you used XC8 otherwise C18 is fine to.
